Do I need a Learner's Permit to start driver's ed?
Learner's Permit is not required to start the classroom curriculum. However, a valid State of Hawaii Learner's Permit is required to begin the driving portion of our program.
How old do I need to be to start driver's ed?
Students must be at least 15.5 years of age to begin our driver's education program.
What happens if I miss a class?
Attendance and participation are MANDATORY. Students are required to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction. Unexcused absences or habitual tardiness may result in expulsion from the program (no retakes or refunds will be offered to an expelled student). Students who are more than 10 minutes late will be considered absent.
In case of illness and a student cannot attend a scheduled class, a doctor's note is required to reschedule the session. Make-up classes will be scheduled based on availability and at the discretion of the instructor. This helps us maintain our scheduling integrity and fairness for all students.

How long does it take to complete driver's ed?
Our classroom curriculum will take at least six weeks to complete. Behind-the-wheel lessons cannot begin until the student has successfully completed the classroom curriculum. Drive lessons must be scheduled at least one week apart.

What is your refund policy?
Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made 29 days or less, will be non-refundable.
Are your instructors certified?
Yes, our instructors are licensed by the State of Hawaii to teach classroom and behind-the-wheel training to all age groups.
What is your use of hours/sessions policy?
All package sessions purchased must be utilized within one year from the date of scheduling. Single lessons and car rentals must be utilized within one month of purchase. This is to ensure the effective use of our services and to provide timely training to all students.

Do you offer payment plans?
No. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration to secure your seat in class.
What if I forgot my username or password?

Behind-the-Wheel
How do I schedule a behind-the-wheel lesson?
Log in to your student account on our website. Choose an available time and your preferred location. Keep in mind that classroom curriculum must be completed prior to starting your behind-the-wheel lessons.
What happens if I miss a drive lesson?
No calls and/no shows will be assessed a $75 fee.
You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $75 late cancellation fee.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my driving lesson?
Should you need to reschedule a lesson, you may do so by logging into your account on our website. You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $75 late cancellation fee.
How fast can I complete behind-the-wheel lessons?
This depends on your scheduling flexibility and instructor availability. You can take one 1.5-hour behind-the-wheel lesson each week. You may schedule up to 3 driving lessons in advance upon successful completion of classroom curriculum.
When can I start the behind-the-wheel lessons?
Behind-the-wheel lessons require a valid State of Hawaii Learner's Permit. Students below the age of 18 must also have successfully completed the classroom curriculum of the Driver's Education Program prior to starting their driving lessons.
Do we use our own car?
No, driving lessons will be taken in our driving school car. Our vehicles have safety features (passenger brake, passenger mirror, student driver signs, etc.) that standard vehicles are not equipped with. The road test, however, will be taken in your personal vehicle.
Do you offer home pick-up and drop-off?
No, we do not. Our driving instructors will meet the students at the DMV location of your choice. All lessons will start and end at the DMV.
